Im moving in the right direction but bad color choice in the beginning hurt the result. Have to pay more attention to that.

Got to agree with you bout the colours here 
Doesn't seem to work very well here. Ive seen you mentioned that you are trying to improove
your colouring skills/ colourchoice...
I for my part have a hard time picking colours and they mostly do not work (for me anyway)
But I have found a superbly done tutorial thingie by purplekecleon and I can only recommend it! It is about colouring and colour theory: [link]
Give it a shot (if you haven't already
) It helped me a lot and also taught and reminded me of things I had to keep in mind while colouring.
